BECQ Design was built around real-world experience in commercial solar PV — not just software and calculations, but years spent working directly within the industry from installation through to design, commissioning, fault finding, and technical delivery.

With over 20 years in the electrical industry and more than 15 years specialising in solar PV, I’ve worked across a wide range of commercial projects, supporting systems up to 1MWp. Having started out on the tools as an installer and progressed through supervisory and design roles for several well-renowned solar companies, I understand the challenges installers face because I’ve faced them myself.

That practical experience shapes the way every project is approached. The focus is always on delivering designs that are technically accurate, commercially viable, compliant, and practical to install — not overcomplicated designs that only work on paper.

BECQ Design exists to give solar installers access to the kind of technical support, engineering input, and grid expertise typically associated with an in-house design team. From early-stage feasibility and PV*SOL modelling through to G99 applications, electrical design, and project support, the goal is to help installers win and deliver commercial projects with confidence.
